Orlando Gay Chorus Strategic Plan 2021-2024

Welcome to the 2021-2024 Orlando Gay Chorus Strategic Plan

This plan was compiled using six months' worth of hard work from a dedicated group of individuals. The Strategic Planning Committee (SPC) was assembled using representatives from key stakeholders: the Board of Directors, the audience, the general public, and, of course, the chorus itself.

The plan has three major components:
1. A new outlook on the OGC identity, including updated mission and vision statements.
2. Goals and objectives to help OGC achieve growth in strategically identified areas.
3. An outline of specific, defined initiatives to help accomplish OGC's goals.

2021-2024 Goals

  1. Create strategic partnerships with at minimum five organizations in the Central Florida region within the next five years.

  2. Dedicate at least one third of our annual outreach efforts to social justice causes.

  3. Provide at minimum five additional resources per semester to members to improve musical excellence at all levels.

  4. Increase revenue by 30% each year for the next three years.

  5. Within the next two years, hire a Development Manager to expand OGC's financial and strategic capacity.

  6. Increase and retain members, patrons, and donors by 10% each year.

  7. Increase the racial/ethnic, age, and gender identity diversity in our membership and audiences to be within 10% of the local area's diversity within five years.
