May 15th and 31st - Fierce & Fabulous: Celebrating LGBTQ+ Artists

In a political landscape where people can be arrested for chalking crosswalks the government itself once painted, where our transgender siblings are being unfairly targeted and legislated against, where transgender women and girls are barred from fully participating in sports and public life, and where hard-won rights are increasingly under threat, the Orlando Gay Chorus continues to do what it has always done: we sing—boldly, proudly, and unapologetically. We sing gay. We sing trans. And no one can keep OGC from raising our voices.

Our mainstage spring production will kick off Pride Month by setting the tone for what it means to be fierce, fabulous, and fearless in the face of adversity. This is more than a concert—it is a joyful act of resistance, a celebration of authenticity, and a reminder that our stories, our identities, and our music will not be erased.

The program will feature music written or made famous exclusively by LGBTQ+ artists, honoring the voices who have shaped our culture and paved the way for generations to come. Audiences will experience the power and passion of artists such as Chappell Roan, Melissa Etheridge, Mary Lambert, Ricky Martin, Sam Smith, Janelle Monáe, 4 Non Blondes, Queen, Lady Gaga, George Michael, Tracy Chapman, Billy Porter, and more.

This spectacular spring performance promises to inspire, uplift, and delight—reminding us all that even in the most challenging times, our community’s music remains louder than fear, stronger than hate, and filled with unstoppable pride.
