David Bracamonte is thrilled to be joining the Orlando Gay Chorus in this fun and exciting cabaret! David was most recently seen as the title role in Sweeney Todd (Insomniac Theatre). Some other favorite credits include Enjolras (u/s) in Les Miserables (Orlando Shakespeare Theatre), Aldolpho in The Drowsy Chaperone (Mad Cow Theatre) and Figaro in Le Nozze di Figaro (Flagstaff in Fidenza). He can be seen singing at Walt Disney World in Beauty and the Beast: Live on Stage.

Joe Saunders has been a leader in Central Florida’s LGBTQ community for nearly 15 years. In 2012 he made history when he became the first openly LGBTQ person in Florida to take the oath of office as a state legislator. A long time advocate for the arts, Joe has helped to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for local arts organizations and is a past Board Member of the Osceola Center for the Arts and Mad Cow Theatre and current Board Member of Central Florida Community Arts where he serves as the organization’s Fundraising Chair. As the Senior Political Director for Equality Florida, Florida’s LGBTQ civil rights organization, he leads fundraising, electoral and political programs fighting for the basic dignity and inclusion of queer, transgender and non-binary Floridians.

Michael Wanzie, in his capacity as the first full-time Director of The Center (An organization he helped establish), worked closely with the pioneering founders of Orlando Gay Chorus offering financial, organizational and promotional assistance in presenting the Gay Choruses from Miami and Tampa in Concert here in our city as a fundraiser to establish Orlando’s Gay Chorus. Wanzie organized and emceed many of the first human rights rallies, protests, and marches that helped usher LGBT persons of Central Florida out of the closet into the Florida sunshine and Community. He is also an Actor, Playwright and Theatrical Producer whose emphasis is always on gay-positive themes. Wanzie is the recipient of The Center’s Citizen of the Year Award, two Spectrum Awards and an ACLU Honor Roll Award for Community Service, The Cami Award for Humanitarianism, and multiple WAVE and Orlando Weekly Awards for artistic and spiritual endeavors.  He is a regular contributing columnist in Watermark and Wanzie has been an openly-gay on-air personality on The Philips Phile – 104.1 FM for 18 years and counting; Tune in – Mondays at 5 pm.
